On October 27, Gulina ? Ao Lijia, expert from International and Domestic Relations Department of Tomsk State Government and Tamara ? Danilova, head of International Education Program in Tomsk State University of Architecture and Buildings were invited to visit SJZU, accompanied by Elena Mukhlygina, the Cultural Official of the Russian General Consulate in Shenyang. Related chiefs in International School and International Exchange and Cooperation Department met the delegation.
During the meeting, the Russian representatives made detailed introduction about the Tomsk State Education and international exchange programs of Tomsk State University of Architecture and Buildings. Meanwhile, they expressed the intention of scientific and technical cooperation in the construction, civil engineering disciplines, teacher collaboration, student exchanges and language training, etc. The two parties reached a consensus to establish the relationship between the two schools through practical teacher and student exchange programs to promote long-term cooperation. After the meeting, Gulina delegation visited the International School and related campus facilities about teaching, laboratory and other aspects.
Tomsk State University of Architecture and Buildings was founded in 1952 in Tomsk,Russia. It has over ten thousand students and academician in the Russian Construction and Engineering Sciences Academy and communication academician. Its specialties of Architecture and Civil Engineering are at the forefront of Russian universities.
