On July 5th, French Famous Architect Jean-François Milou invited to visit SJZU accompanied by Li Lan, the Consul General of the French Consulate General in Shenyang. Milou discussed about methods and other related issues of old buildings reconstructions with related personnel from International Exchange & Cooperation Department and School of Architecture and Urban Planning.
Milou gave a lecture called “ Historical or Industrial Architectural Heritage Reconstruction” to students from School of Architecture and Urban Planning. The lecture gave real examples that Milou reconstructed and details of the whole process, including the problems encountered during the reconstruction. The lecture was lively and rich in content, and received unanimous praise from both students and professors. After the lecture, Milou answered the questions from students and professors, and further communicate relevant issues in the field of architecture.
